You can count on nearly everyone you know from RB being there. Yes, that's the annual Thanksgiving luncheon, a tradition held at noon the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving, which this year is Nov. 22, in the Rancho Bernardo Inn's Aragon Ballroom.

Because everyone gets to meet everyone at this function, the reception starts at 11 a.m., and some folks will get there even earlier so as not to miss anyone.

Tickets are now on sale for $50 per person and include one opportunity drawing ticket. What do the drawings offer?

There are two $500 Nordstrom gift cards and a deluxe hotel package for the Rancho Bernardo Inn. You can buy additional drawing tickets for $10 each or three for $20. You must be present to win.

Bob Wells, who helped found the luncheon and is on this year's planning committee, says this is the one time a year when Rancho Bernardo gets together as a community.
