As an owner of an 85 employee manufacturing business in northern NH, I don't think there could be any better stimulus for small (medium and large) businesses than to relieve them of the cost of providing health care insurance.
Though providing health insurance to a number of people who probably wouldn't have it otherwise is one of the things I'm most proud of as a business owner, it also strikes me as completely inappropriate for an employer to be involved in something as personal as an individual's health care.
The only thing that will help job growth is equalizing currencies or their effect on our economy by imposing duties on inbound goods. Nothing is being made here in America and the machines we do have are being sold for scrap that will return to us as inexpensive defective products and impersonal service
