SPONDON Rovers continue to lead the way in WINSHILL SOCCER SCHOOL UNDER-10 DIVISION ONE after a 4-1 win over struggling Mayfield Panthers.
Louie Derbyshire hit a hat-trick and Louis Melbourne also netted, while Benjamin Robinson replied for Panthers.
Willington, sitting second, were pushed all the way but eventually beat Hilton Harriers Blaze 2-1 thanks to goals from Clark Belmore and Shay Rainford. Rhys Evans replied for Blaze.
Newhall Rams’ first win came courtesy of an Adam Palmer strike to beat Chellaston Black Sox.
A goal apiece from Ciaran Gilligan, Milan Stanojevic and Jamie Yardley led Mickleover Sports to a 3-1 win over Tutbury Tigers. Leo Tacchi pulled one back for Tigers.
Abbots Bromley also won for the first time, 3-1 against Marlborough Rovers Yellow, thanks to Joseph Haywood (2) and Christopher Kitson. Sam Jarman replied for Marlborough.
