Hot Favourite Beanie MM ( Super Arnie ) started well and was able to make his move after just over a half lap and take over the lead from early leader Negresco Milar ( CC’s Churckie T ) and Marco Guzzinati.

Leben RL ( Supergill ) with Roberto Vecchione was in third place but lost hisplace when Alessandro Gocciadoro took Linda di Casei past him .

But Beanie MM powered on the pressure was in full control of events by the final turn and although Roberto Vecchione made some leeway in the straight on Leben RL they came no closer than about one length.
