Following on from the news yesterday that Cheryl Cole has separated from husband Ashley, it's being reported that the footballer bombarded Cheryl with naked pics nope, sorry, wrong story, with phone calls pleading with her to give their marriage of three-and-a-half years another chance and offering to go to rehab for his inability to not shag women. We're also being transported back to the 1950s, as Ashley is also reportedly blaming his mother-in-law for their break-up, so let's recap on Ian Wright's liberal views from yesterday.....

Apparently the pair are squaring up for a £22million divorce battle, despite Cole begging Cheryl to take her back and offering to go to rehab for sex addiction (even though everyone knows that there's no such thing) and calling her every ten minutes while she was in LA, pleading for her to give him a second chance (or chance number 6). But she refused to answer any of his whimpering phone calls and instead discussed her future over with Simon Cowell and Derek Hough.
