ELIOT, Maine — Public Service of New Hampshire has been busy developing ways of reducing bothersome noise at its Schiller Station Power Plant across the Piscataqua River, and has set up a meeting at 4:30 p.m. today to inform residents in the South Eliot neighborhood about their plans.
The Schiller Station Power Plant in Portsmouth, N.H., is not to be confused with the Newington Energy power plant, which is upstream from Schiller Station and is also on the Piscataqua River, but across from the Green Acre Baha'i School.
